Sleaford & District Round Table

If you think Round Table is a closed, secret society that belongs in the past, you couldn’t be further from the truth. Much more than just a club or association, the Round Table is a vibrant movement whose 6,000 members meet regularly in 425 clubs around the UK to see friends, have fun, and get involved in their local communities.

The Round Table Movement is all about making friends, having fun, trying things you’ve not done before, and putting something back into the local community.

At Sleaford we meet fortnightly, usually on a Tuesday, getting together for everything from a game of football, karting and other sporting activities, to black-tie dinners. And sometimes it’s just a drink and a meal in the pub, or perhaps a game of snooker or darts. These social evenings are the lifeblood of the Round Table movement – bringing together groups of friends for a drink and a laugh.

We also run the Sleaford Community Minibus, hold a Charity Golf Day, man the Beer Tent at Sleaford Carnival and bring Christmas alive every December with Santa on his Sleigh, visiting many homes in the area – all raising money for local good causes.

The key to really finding out what it’s all about is to attend a couple of events. Getting involved is easy, and it could be the best fun you’ve had in ages. Want to find out more? Why not contact our Chairman at
